Anthony D. Woodard, age 25, died Sunday, June 14, 2009.Born August 11, 1983 in Danville, he was the son of Jeff (Ann) Woodard and Robin (David) Griffith Bennett.He was a heavy equipment operator for Claunch Construction Co. Anthony was an avid hunter and was a member of the American Kennel Club.Other survivors include: two sons, Brody Anthony Woodard and Jordan Barnett; a daughter, Shelby Barnett; a fiancé, Tamica Barnett of Burgin; two sisters, Sheila Burkhart of Lincoln County, and Diana Bennett of Harrodsburg; and one brother, David (Kelli) Woodard of Harrodsburg; paternal grandmother, Geneva Woodard of Lancaster; maternal grandfather, Jimmy Denny; a nephew, D. J. Woodard; father & mother-In-Law, Larry (Marsha) Sims of Lancaster; brother-in-law, J. R. (Megan) Marlow. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, William Robert Woodard, and maternal grandmother, Mallie Denny.Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Harold Best with burial in the Burgin Memorial Garden.Pallbearers: Marshall Todd, Larry Sims, Jarrod Conn, Drew Sallee, Daniel Derringer, Tommy Little. Honorary bearers: Patrick Bugg, Jeremy Brumfield, Russell Denny, Joe Denny, and J. R. Marlow.Visitation will be Tuesday, June 16 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
