Gladys W. Anderson, age 86, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born February 27, 1923 in Williamsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Nora Shepherd Wilson. She was a retired operating room technician at VA Hospital Lexington and also worked at Shakertown at Pleasant Hill for several years.
Survivors include: one daughter, Sandra (Bob) McKinley of Lexington, KY; two sons, Gary (Darlene) Anderson of Lexington, KY, and Steve (Donna) Anderson of Harrodsburg, KY; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecelia Ann Andersen, and a sister, Helen Clark.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 20 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mark Williams and Greg Warren. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Mike Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Jay Anderson, Cody Anderson, Bobby McKinley, Jared Wilcox and Mike Wiley. Honorary bearers are Amy Wilcox, Ashley Lancaster, Angie Sudduth, and Tammy Wellman.
Visitation will be Friday, June 19, from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
