Martha Royalty, age 90, Lexington Rd., Harrodsburg, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg, KY.Born September 28, 1918 in Washington Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Effie Lee (Goff) Cheatham. She was a retired Cricketeer Mfg. Co. press operator and a member of the Eller's Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include: a granddaughter, Ann Marie Royalty; three sisters, Margaret Long of Harrodsburg, KY, Louise Carrier of Deland, FL, and Bonnie Shearer of Frankfort, KY. She was preceded in death by a son, David Royalty.Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenneth Whitehouse. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.Nephews will serve as pallbearers.Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
