Obituary of Eddie Warnell Goodlett

Eddie W. Goodlett, age 48, 159 Chinn Ln., Harrodsburg, husband of Allison Blacketer Goodlett, died Wednesday. Born November 3, 1960 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Harold Truman Goodlett and Hildred Pauline (Lane) Goodlett, Harrodsburg. He was owner of Thurman Goodlett & Sons Wrecker Service and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church. Other survivors include: one daughter, Andrea Leeann (Frankie) Edwards of Waddy, KY; two sons, Joseph Tyler Goodlett and Evan Paul Goodlett both of Harrodsburg; one sister, Ruth (Rick) Curtsinger of Harrodsburg, KY; two brothers, Gerald (Betty) Goodlett of Mackville, KY and Lawrence Gene Goodlett of Harrodsburg, KY; two grandsons, Dallas Luken Edwards and Mason Shane Edwards. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 4, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Derek Baker with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are Mark Olvelston, Cecil Buchanan, Joe Zabala, Woody Holt, Chris Goodlett, Frankie Edwards, Rick Moberly, Harold Wayne Chilton, and Charles “Chuckie” Bugg. Honorary bearers are Lonnie Lawson, Clay Wilson, Mason Ward, Nathan Mayes, Michael Chilton, Marcus Britton, Tyler Williamson, Sac Hume, Jay Cheek, Daniel Goodlett, Wes Carter, Gary Popplewell, Mason Moss, David Dudgeon, David Vinyard, Matt Britton, Luken and Mason Edwards, and Charlie Cecil. Visitation will be Friday, July 3 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday after 7:30 AM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
