Obituary of Vilas Irvin Graham

Vilas Irvin Graham, age 90, Beaumont Avenue, Harrodsburg, husband of Una Lee Mayes Graham, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at his home.
Born January 13, 1919 in Washington Co., KY, he was the son of the late Arthur Lee and Bertha Lee (Royalty) Graham. He was an Air Force veteran of WWII and was former co-owner of Harrodsburg Candy and Tobacco. He was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, American Legion Post 52, a former member of the Lions Club, and a past Mason.
Survivors other than his wife include: two daughters, Pamela Kay (David) Carpenter of Frankfort, KY and Cathy Lee (Danny) Mobley of Harrodsburg, KY; one son, James Arthur (Lisa) Graham of Harrodsburg, KY; one brother, Truman Graham of Danville, KY; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was Predeceased by nine brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, July 31 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mark Thompson and Phil Williams. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, with military rites
Pallbearers are: Michael Mobley, Chris Renaud, Eric Stone, Casey Lawson, Bobby Walden, and Leland Graham.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 30 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and after 7:30 am Friday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Foundation Fund, Harrodsburg Christian Church.
