Alvin D. Peavler Jr., age 73, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital.Born January 1, 1936 in Monticello, KY, he was the son of the late Alvin D. and Fannie Bell Harlow Peavler.He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a retired material handler.
Survivors include: several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by siblings: John C. Watts, Elgin Wayne Watts, Paul Peavler, Margaret Lindsey, and Marie Terhune.
Funeral services will be conducted 07:00 PM, Tuesday, August 4 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John Watts. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4 from 5-7 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
