Paul Jones, age 75, Harrodsburg, husband wife of Ann Woods Jones, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the , Harrodsburg, KY.
Born April 30, 1934 in Harlan, KY, he was the son of the late Herman Thomas and Nola Risden Jones. He was a former Mercer County Dep. Sheriff and a Harrodsburg Police Officer and also operated the Jones Bus Lines for several years. He was a member of the Shawnee Run Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife: Ann Woods Jones, , one daughter: Teresa (Rick) Blaisdell of Burgin, and two sons: Tommy Jones, and Richard (Sharon) Jones both of Burgin; one sister: Bonnie Sine of FL; two Step Sons: Gary (Judy) Winchester of Lancaster, and Jerry (Gayle) Winchester of Burgin; Ten Grandchildren, and Eighteen Great Grandchidren. He was predeceased by siblings: Jack Jones, Mable Jones, Mildred Blakley, Charlotte Hankinson.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, August 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Ralph Neal with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Steve Blevins, Tomas and Brett Jones, Jerry Lee and Gary Winchester and Trevor Blevins.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 16 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
