Ernie Patton, Jr., age 67, Salvisa, husband of Bonnie Sheffileld Patton, died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born December 31, 1941 in Mary, KY, he was the son of the late Ernie Ray and Edith (Taulbee) Patton. He was a farmer and truck driver.
Survivors include: his wife: Bonnie (Sheffield) Patton, two daughters: Clara Jackson of Harrodsburg, Sharon Staton of Salvisa, and two sons: Stanley (Angie) Patton of Salvisa, Scott (Allison) Patton of Harrodsburg; five sisters: Allene Wells of Frankfort, Martha Tyra and Exie Beasley of Campton, KY, Zelma Combs and Priscilla Collins of Cincinnati, OH; Granddaughter, Bridgette Staton; Three Grandsons, Levi Patton, Nathan Patton and Mason Patton and a step grandson: Shannon Jackson. Predeceased by a son: Richard Lee Patton, grandson: Brian Lee Perry, three sisters: Bernice Howell, Daisy Martin and Otella Carson and four brothers: Lee, Richard, Kenneth, and Buford Patton.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM, Monday, August 31 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.
Pallbearers are: David Creech, Robert Creech, George Patton, Kevin Waterfill, Jimmy Howard, Ed Nichols, Rick Moberly and Eddie Browning.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 30 from after 5:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
