Obituary of Ina Wanda Cornish

Ina Wanda Cornish, age 92, Harrodsburg, widow of Frank Cornish, died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her home in Harrodsburg, KY. Born December 18, 1916 in Mackville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Grant and Mary Elizabeth (Carrico) Stumph. She was a Commodities Program Director and a homemaker. Ina was a member of the Joseph Chapel United Methodist where she was the oldest member and the Church Historian. She also was a member of the Eastern Star, Salvisa Homemakers, Concerned Citizens, Widow to Widow and a volunteer at the Christian Life Center. Survivors include: three daughters: Frankie (Kenny) Sims, Jean Drury and Mary Emily Wheeler all of Harrodsburg; Six Grandchildren; Ten Great Grandchildren; One Step Great Grandchild. She was predeceased by Three brothers, Two sisters, son in law; Bill Wheeler, One granddaughter and step grandson. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, September 1 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Carroll Drury, Pat Drury, Kelly McGinnis, Dana Bottom, Travis Wheeler, Hollie Dean, Amber Drury, Cara Drury, Lou Ann Drury, Hunter Drury, Rebecca Drury, Rosalyn Drury, Troy McGinnis, Landon McGinnis, Laci McGinnis, Mark Bottom, Nicholas Bottom, Keegan Bottom, Chris Dean, Ben Wheeler and Rachel Wheeler. Visitation will be Monday, August 31 from 5 - 8 PM and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Christian Life Center.
