Obituary of Wilma Yates Corn

Wilma Corn, age 95, Harrodsburg, widow of Bishop Corn, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born December 29, 1913 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harvey B. and Mattie Willie Norton Yates. She was a retired employee of Corning Glass mfg. and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, were she was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was a graduate of Fairview School where she was a member of the girls basketball team and for several years was an avid bowler.
Survivors include: a Sister-in-Law; Sylvia Yates of Harrodsburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted 03:00 PM, Wednesday, September 30 at the Spring Hill Cemetery by Dr. Robert Defoor.
Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
