Obituary of Glenda J. Ganem

Glenda J. Ganem, age 70, Junction City, died Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born January 24, 1939 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Leigh and Mary Elizabeth Williams Gibson. She was a caregiver and a member of the Bethel Cumberland # 1 Presbyterian Church and was also a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include: three daughters: Mary Tatum (Stephen) Reed of Elizabethtown, Elizabeth Tatum (Kirk) Schamp of Atlanta, GA, D.Dee (Travis) Hill of Louisville and two sons: Christopher (Lynette) Ganem of Harrodsburg, Sean Ganem of Junction City; one sister: Lois McCrystal of Harrodsburg; seventeen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers: William Harold Divine, Donald Gibson, and a sister: Helen Gibson.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. James Byrd. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers: Stephen Reed, Kirk Schamp, Travis Hill, Sidney Hill, Griffin Schamp, Luke Hill, Micah Ganem and John Thomas Ganem.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 10 after 12 noon at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
