Carlos E. Marksbury, 62, Lucy Ct., Winchester, formerly of Harrodsburg, husband of Rosemary Price Marksbury, died Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
Born April 1, 1947 in Mercer Co., KY, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mary Ellen (Vandivier) Marksbury. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors other than his wife include: one daughter, Sarah Bryant of Owensboro, KY; three sons, Troy Marksbury of Danville, KY, Billy Marksbury of Lexington, KY, and Joel Marksbury, Winchester; one sister, Charlotte Arnold of Mackville, KY; two grandchildren, Samantha Marksbury and Cameryn Bryant; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 14 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Troy, Billy, and Joel Marksbury, Tommy Bryant, Mark Watts, and Clint Hardin.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
