Nan Elizabeth Woods, 68, Lancaster, widow of Donald Carl Woods, died Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
Born August 31, 1941 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Jason and Ruby (Reed) Lane.
Survivors include: , two daughters: Terri Weber of Lancaster, KY, Judy (David) Culver of Nicholasville, KY and two sons: Timmy Woods of Lancaster, KY, Donnie (Kathy) Woods of Lancaster, KY; four sisters: Bonnie Woods of Lancaster, KY, Ina Crank of Lancaster, KY, Lyda Maupin of Lancaster, KY, Jo Ann Prewitt of Richmond, KY; and two brothers: Dale Lane of Lancaster, KY, Elwood Lane of Lancaster, KY; 12 grandchildren11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers: Vernon & Wilbur Lane.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, October 26 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Charlie Lawson and burial will be in the Woods Family Cemetery, Lancaster.
Visitation will be Monday, October 26 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
