Obituary of Dorothy Mae Snyder

Dorothy Mae Snyder, age 85, 510 Cane Run, Harrodsburg, widow of Woodson Snyder, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at her home. Born February 11, 1924 in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Vernice and Viola (Robinson) Sallee. She was a retired Cricketeer Mfg. Co. seamstress and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where she was a long-time nursery attendant. She was also a former band parent and booster. Survivors include: one son, Larry Woodson (Barbara) Snyder of Woodford Co.; three sisters, Onita Sanders, Beuna Baker, and Bonnie (Harry) Barnett all of Harrodsburg, KY; She was preceded in death by four sisters, Louise Duncan, Shirley James, Elois Poulter, and Frances Warner. Funeral services will be 1 pm Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation is 5-7 pm Sat., Ransdell’s. Pallbearers are Joe Marshall Warner, Larry Ellis, Terrell Royalty, T. J. Royalty, Joel James, and Steve Duncan. Honorary bearers are Terry Sanders, Stuart Warner, Harry Barnett, and Don Huffman.
