Elmer C. Tatum, age 81, Danville, husband of Laura Beatrice Patterson Tatum, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg.
Born July 14, 1928 in Burgin, KY, he was the son of the late Ira and Pearl (Lester) Tatum. He was a licensed plumber and retired from maintenance at American Greetings. He was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Survivors include: his wife: Laura Beatrice (Patterson) Tatum, , two daughters: Rebecca (Wilburn) Turner and Emily Carol Cannon both of Harrodsburg and two sons: Andrew (Winifred) Tatum of Lawrenceburg, Garnett (Paula) Tatum of Danville; Eight Grandchildren; One Great Grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 3 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Father Danny Schwendeman. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Eric Lyons, B.J. Taylor, Andy Tatum, Josh Cannon, Vernon Tatum and Eric Scott Turner
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 3 from 10:00 AM to the service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, or Heritage Hospice.
