James Stallard Trisler, age 71, Harrodsburg, husband of Norma Jean Hubble Trisler, died Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born March 2, 1938 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Stallard B. and Ela Stopher Trisler. He was married to Norma Jean Hubble for 42 years.. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing pool and cards; working on cars and spending time with his family
He was a retired Lt. for the Dept. of Corrections and a member of the Magnolia Christian Church. Other survivors include: three daughters: Ginger (Randy) Bussell of Harrodsburg, Melody (Junior) Thompson of Lincoln County, Madonna (Joe) King of Harrodsburg, and two sons: George (Vonda) Craig of NC, Stanley (Cynthia) Craig of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters: Margaret Hagg and Louise Huffman both of Harrodsburg, and fourteen Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren; several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 PM, Tuesday, November 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Gary Story with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Monday, November 16 from 5 - 8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
