Obituary of Frances Kurtz Shipman

Frances Shipman, age 78, Mesa, AZ, formerly of Mercer Co., wife of Lee Shipman, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at her home.
Born November 18, 1930 in Mercer Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Bessie (Balden) Kurtz. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church of Mesa.
Other survivors include: one son, Gary (Linda) Shipman of Mesa, AZ; two grandchildren, Jamie Lee Dillon and Toni Marie Utoft; two great grandchildren, Brady Joseph Dillon and Devin Lee Dillon. She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Friday, November 20 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Fidel Hughes with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 19 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
