Dorris Marie Montgomery, age 60, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born January 21, 1949 in Shelbyville, KY, she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys (Lyons) Thornton. She owned and operated a mini nursing home and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a sister: Barbara (William) Moore of Harrodsburg, KY, Several Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 22 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenny Queener. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: William Moore Sr., William Moore II, Ron Emerson Moore, Don Robert Moore, Bruce Devine, Ronald Wayne Devine, Colby Robert Moore and Tyler Emerson Moore.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 21 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
