Obituary of Allin L. Watts

Allin L. Watts, age 94, Morgan Ave., Harrodsburg, husband of Blanche Wiley Watts for 70 years, died Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born January 14, 1915 in Mercer Co., KY, he was the son of the late Lee and Ruth (Gritton) Watts. He was retired from construction work, and was a member of the Mayo Christian Church, where he had served as Deacon and song leader.
Survivors other than his wife include: two sons, Sam (Brenda) Watts, Harrodsburg, and Ron (Dixie) Watts, Grayson; one sister, Mary Katherine Russell, Harrodsburg; five grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 PM, Monday, November 23 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jerry Perry and Claude Waldridge with burial in the Berea Christian Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Steve Taylor, Brian Watts, Gary Durr, James Maddox, Buddy Bugg, and Randy Fletcher. Honorary bearers are Cecil Riley, Tom Drury, Jenning Burns, Walter Jackson, Bentley Lane, Sheri Griffieth, Kristen Fletcher, and Brooke Griffieth.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 22 from 5-8 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions suggested to Berea Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
