June Vivien Scott McMurry, 89, died Sunday, December 27, 2009 in Louisville, KY.
She was born on February 8, 1920 in Mercer Co., KY., the daughter of the late Ben and Anne Mitchell (Carter) Scott. She was a retired office manager and had held church memberships both in the Carrollton Christian and Harrodsburg Christian Church.
She is survived by two son's; Gorden T. McMurry of Louisville, KY., and Gene McMurry of Carrollton, KY., two half brothers; Ben Scott of Versailles, KY., and Clarence Scott of Lawrenceburg, KY., four grandchildren, thirteen grandchildren and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Gorden Felix McMurry, a half sister; Eudora Dygert and one grandson; Ken McMurry.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel in Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, KY.
