Obituary of William E. Lane

William E. "Honey Man" Lane, age 87, 911 Bob-O-Link, Harrodsburg, husband of Jeanetta Kirkland Lane, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born November 6, 1922 in Madison Co., KY, he was the son of the late Edgar and Ora (Mills) Lane. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a retired business owner. He was also a longtime beekeeper and was known as the "Honey Man." Other survivors include: two daughters, Georgia Tipton and Faye Sullivan, both of Boca Raton, FL; one sister, Helen Breedlove of Richmond, KY; and one brother, Russell Lane of Richmond, KY; three step children; six step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a sister, and three brothers. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorial contributions may be sent to American Heart Association.
