Arlie Roscoe Royalty, age 93, Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born September 13, 1916 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Booker T. and Nannie Lee (Burrus) Royalty. He served during World War II in the Army. He was retired from construction and a member of the Ellers Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Daughter-in-law, Debbie Royalty; Granddaughter, Ann Marie Ratliff ; Twelve Nieces & Nephews. Mr. Royalty was preceded in death by his son; David Roscoe Royalty.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 9 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenneth Whitehouse. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Eddie Long, Don Long, Jim Newby, Jerry Newby, Jimmy Norvell and Walden Adkinson.
Visitation will be Friday, January 8 from 3-6 pm at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
