Obituary of Betty Lou Hinkle

Betty Lou Hinkle Betty Lou Hinkle, age 73, Harrodsburg, died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center, Harrodsburg. Born April 4, 1936 in Stamping Ground, KY, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Almedia West (Hockensmith) Perkins. She was a retired employee of the Kentucky State Government, Parks Department and a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church. Survivors include: a daughter: Rhonda Lyn Hinkle of Harrodsburg and a son: Steven E. (Kathy) Hinkle of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters: Rosena Perry of Louisville and Marie McPherron of Frankfort; two brothers: Raymond Perkins of Georgetown and Elmo Perkins of Frankfort; and Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3 PM, Sunday, February 21 at the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church by Jimmy Owens and Ken Klemme. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Her nephews will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 5-8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, and will move to the church at 2 pm Sunday.
