Leona "Boots" Bradley, age 79, Harrodsburg, wife of Lloyd Bradley, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born January 13, 1931 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Roach and Margie (Green) Farney. She was a former secretary at Cricketeer Manufacturing and a clerk at the State Bank and Trust. Boots was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church and Order #309 of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of O.C. Currens Sr. Survivors include: her husband: Lloyd Bradley and son: O.C. (Barb) Currens of Stanford; Grandchildren, Kim Sanders, Jaime Godbey and Shawna Martinez; Great Grandchildren, Evan Sanders, Christien Martinez and Nicolas Martinez. She was predeceased by three brothers: Allen, Robert & Condit Farney and two sisters: Helen Ruth Elliott and Grace Curtsinger Devine. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Monday, March 1 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Ken Klemme and Dale Denton. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: John Wayne Peavler, Kenny Kurtz, Bill King, Arthur Bradley, Carlos Lester, Gene Curtsinger and Harold Davis. Honorary Bearers are: Dr. John Alexander, Dr. Don Hamner, Order 309 of the Eastern Star Members and the Yates-Spillman Sunday School Class, Visitation will be Sunday, February 28 from 5 - 8 PM with an Eastern Star sevice at 7:30 pm, and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel . Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice or the Ephriam McDowell Cancer Center. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.ransdellfuneralchapel.com
