A Memory is a wonderful treasure chest for those who know how to pack it. Our Aunt Georgia could pack so much love and wisdom in one visit on the telephone or in person. The lessons I learned from her will be a part of my family's lives for generations to come.
The course of true loves never runs-it stops and parks! She parked on the steps to say good-bye to so many family and friends that came to visit. Her sweet smile was seen from the back seat of our car by our daughter for many years.
Love is sharing a part of yourself with others. She shared a part of herself that will never be forgotten.
Love is a little word; people make it big. She made LOVE the biggest word I know.

Dear Sims family and friends,
Below is a note I had my mom, Terry Campbell, read to Aunt Georgia in the hospital just before her passing. I wanted Aunt Georgia to know how much she influenced my life and my brothers. She was an incredible woman and an example for all.
I thought I'd share it with all of you.
With love, Jamie Campbell Megginson
Dear Aunt Georgia,
I'm thinking and praying for you during this difficult time. I hope you are not in pain and being comforted by family and friends.
I want you to know how much you mean to all of us kids; myself, Arran, Cary and Gordon. We all love you very much and see you as another Grandmother. I have wonderful memories from my childhood spent at your house; your rose garden, adventures on the railroad tracks, hearing the train as I was sleeping, fun times at the Daniel Boone Park, etc.
For me, you and Aunt Anna Lee were role models to me as independent, confident, loving, professional and intelligent women. You influenced me in positive and loving ways and helped shape me into a strong and loving person. You are always in my heart.
God is with you Aunt Georgia.
Love, Jamie
