My father is Raymond Cox, a grandson of Benjamin Willis Cox and who is grandfather of Lillie Anne Moore, mother of Willie Mae. I believe I have stated this correctly. I'm sorry to learn of her passing. I appreciate the photos of her that have been included. My father enjoyed having any opportunity to visit with his relatives.

Greg and family, I am the son of Geraldine Springate Hawthorne and your grandfather Ellis was related to my Grandmother, Myrtle Bryant Springate. I grew up playing with your father Larry before he went to Vietnam. He was a great man! I remember going to Mae's house to see her and Ellis when they lived up around Kirkwood. I am now 62 so that gives you some perspective.
Was so sadden to hear that Mae had passed but have to admit I was surprised to know she was still living. Would have loved to visit with her for more family Information. If you have any information on your Grandfather and his family can you let me know. I think there was some connection with the Bryant Family. I would guess that Ellis was a child of one of my Grandmother since he called her Aunt Myrtle but I don't know which Sister it was. Please accept my deepest condolences regarding your grandmother.

A candid portrait I took of Aunt Mae at the Stratton reunion in 2012.
