Obituary of Willie Mae Redmon

Willie Mae Redmon, 97, widow of Ellis R. Redmon,died Sunday, June 14, 2015, Baton Rouge, LA. Born March 15, 1918, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Preston and Lillie Ray Moore Stratton. She was a homemaker and member of the Clay Lick Methodist Church. Survivors include ; five sisters: Frances Ellis of Denham Springs, LA, Rebecca Clem of Harrodsburg, KY, Kathleen Bowen of Lawrenceburg, IN, Levenia Wayne of Harrodsbug, Janette Sullivan of GA and three brothers: Arnett Stratton of Lexington, Lyle Stratton of Bowling Green, Sherman Stratton of GA; she also has one grandson, Greg Redmon of Bronston, KY. She is predeceased by a son, Larry Ray Redmon, a sister, Gertrude Hill, and two brothers, Kenneth and Bobby Stratton. Graveside services 11 AM, Friday, June 19, at the Sand Spring Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, KY, with visitation Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg .
