Richard F. Dartt, 92, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Crystal Jean Longwell Dartt, died Monday, March 21, 2016, at the The Willows at Harrodsburg. Born October 15, 1923, in Wellsboro, PA, he was the son of the late Myron S. and Christine (Peterson) Dartt. Richard was a retired maintenance supervisor for Corning Glass. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church and the American Legion. Survivors include: one daughter, Deborah Holiday of Harrodsburg; one son, Dr. Richard M. (Kathie) Dartt, of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Helen Putnam, Dorothy Stevens, and Ruth Horton, all of Wellsboro, PA; six grandchildren, Richard L. (Emily) Dartt, Crystal Nicole Holiday, Charles B. Holiday, James Ty Holiday, Myron (Lisa) Dartt, and Mary (Jeff) Richeson; ten great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Sims. Funeral services 2 PM Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison. Burial with military rites will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be Gavin, Charlie, and Ty Holiday, Richard L. and Myron Dartt, and Jeff Richeson.
