Norma Van Gorp was a devoted wife to her husband for 65yrs. She was also devoted to her [2] children, [4] Grand children and [11] Great Grand children. Most of all she was devoted to her Savior Jesus Christ. To me she was more than Norma Van Gorp, she was mom. Mom cared for my dad for [20] yrs after his stroke attending to all of his needs, never hesitating to do what was necessary, never complaining and always thanking God that Dad was still with her. After dad passed away, mom was filled with great sadness but continued being a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and taking care of all of her family. Her strength and love never wavered no matter what she faced. She inspired all who new her. I loved my mom for what she taught me and the love that she gave me. Mom was not only a mom to me but filled a part of my life for which I will always be grateful. I will always be thankful to God for the time I was able to spend with my mom. Mom when you read this know that Peggy and I will ALWAYS love and miss you but we will never be sorry that God is holding you in his arms and Dad is right beside you. We will be looking for the pennies.

The world wil definitely be a little dimmer place without Nornie. She was a rock to her family, a blessing to friends and neighbors, and an example to us all. She will be greatly missed and forever admired. Love and Prayers for the family as they learn to adjust in her absence.
