Skip and I were childhood friends primarily through baseball activities, and some fishing which Skip loved. I appreciated his friendship and the memories from baseball days — my condolences to his family.

Wanita, Leigh and family, it made me feel so sad to hear the news of Skip's passing. Some of the Darley Drive gang gathered last summer at Debbie Baker's house and Wanita, you and Skip were very missed. We had so much fun growing up together on Darley Drive, and Skip is one of the first to leave. So very sorry for your loss, and ours.

I knew Skip for a long time as he was one of my brother's friends in baseball, high school and college. Your family is in my prayers.

This is not easy, please accept my deepest sympathies. In the days ahead as you mourn, may God comfort and hold you and your family up. Know that you are not alone for your family and friends are here to walk through these dark times with you. Though Skip is gone, he remains in your heart and in your children and grandchildren. Cherish the memories and the time you had together for they will give you the strength to carry on.
