Obituary of Norman Woodrow Sipe
Norman Woodrow "Skip" Sipe, 64, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Leigh Hart Elam Sipe, died Saturday at the V. A. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Born January 9, 1954, in Lexington, to the late Norman Leonard and Etta Louise (Bietz) Sipe. Norman served in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Lt. Col. and also retired from the Bureau of Federal Prisons. He was a member of the Cornishville Baptist Church.
Norman is survived by: his wife: Leigh Hart (Elam) Sipe, one daughter: Amy Jo Louise Vera of Harrodsburg, and one son: Jason Leonard Sipe of Salvisa, one sister: Wanita Sipe Elison of Lexington, KY, four grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held 12:30PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery by Terry Morrison.
