Obituary of William Smith Conover
William "Bill" Smith Conover, 72, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Ruth Ann Cosby Conover, died Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born August 27, 1945, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late Wilbur Smith and Rebecca Elizabeth (Wilson) Conover. He was Director of the Christian Life Center, a farmer, former Ft. Harrod Park Ranger, and was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Caleb Aaron Conover of Harrodsburg; one sister, Cheryl Conover of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Michael (Carol) Conover and Alan (Carolyn Kay) Conover, both of Harrodsburg; Special Friend, Charles Matherly of Danville; several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be1 PM Friday, July 20, 2018, at the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church by Garland Hawkins and John Kesel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, and 11 AM Friday at the church.
Pallbearers: Peter Conover, Woody "Butch" Wilson, Stuart Wilson, Stephen Wilson, John Kesel, and Kent Wharton. Honorary Pallbearers: John Wayne Peavler, Donn Pescatrice and The Doris Davis Circle.
