I was so sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. He was such a kind man and always had a smile and a story to tell. He was very proud of his family, his experiences with the Boy Scouts and his hometown. I know he is in heaven catching up with the friends and family that went before him. He will be missed!
My thoughts and prayers are with you Brenda. God Bless!

Poppy,
I’ll always remember how much you cared about spending time with your grandchildren. You always were quick to come downstairs to watch me play a video game and if I ever lost quick to give me a hard time. You went to my lacrosse games, you took me to McDonald’s you even liked to tell me I was a nut. You were quick to always have kind words to say to me and I’ll remember them forever. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. I hope you and Nana are up there laughing together. I love you

Poppy,
I’m going to miss you. You always Had a story, a joke, or insight on whether those were grapes or poisonous berries (relax mom, they were just grapes). You had a baseball hat for every team any one of your grandchildren cheered for. Thank you for helping make me the man I am today. You will be missed, and you will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace poppy.
Love,
Matt

Roy,
I will miss you very much. The kids were lucky to have you as their "Poppy" and my mom was lucky to have you in her life. We are all much better people because of you.
I feel much better knowing you are in the loving arms of your family and in Heaven.
Love,
Leslie

Dear Brenda, Sonja, Leslie, Lisa and Jeff - we are so sorry we will not be able to attend services for Roy. However, I am so thankful that we had spoken on the phone several times over the past few months and that we ended our conversations with an I LOVE YOU BROTHER. I feel at peace with our relationship but wish we could have visited Kentucky more than once.
Mary and I have quite a few photos of Roy and group family photos with him in as well that we would love to send to you. Just text Lee a good address and we'll forward.
Big Roy Bear Hugs to you all!
