Obituary of Roy B. Kallam

Roy B. Kallam, 79, Danville, KY, husband of Brenda  Keates Kallam, died Tuesday at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He was born June 26,1939, in Martinsville, VA, he was the son of the late Burton and the late Mozelle (Burton) Kallam.  Roy served in the United States Air Force, he was a retired employee for DuPont Manufacturing and was currently a courier for Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Roy was also a long time Boy Scout Leader and a member of the First Baptist Church, Danville.

          Roy is survived by: his wife, Brenda (Keates) Kallam; two children, Lisa (John) Eliassen of Collinsville, VA, and Jeffery Kallam of Cleveland, OH; two step-children, Sonya (Kryder) VanBuskirk of Danville, KY and Leslie (Michael) Sharman of Doylestown, PA; one sister, Inez Morris; one brother, Lee (Mary) Kallam, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Roy was preceded in death by three brothers: David, Ronnie & Wayne Kallam, and a sister, Linda Kallam.

          Visitation will be from noon-2pm Saturday; January 19 at First Baptist Church, Danville, with a Memorial service at 2:00 pm, by Randy Reese.
