Kathy is one of the sistahs from our 1980 graduating class. We all loved Kathy, well frankly, who couldn't? She was one of the sweetest girls, never bothered anyone and always there to help out. I don't know why, it is those like her that suffer but I do know this much, Heaven is going to be a brighter place with her in it. We Love you Kathy!!

Keith and family
There are no words to explain the sadness I feel at the loss of Kathy, but also rejoice that she is with our loving Lord! Kathy was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, mother-in-law and sister. She always put you guys first above her own needs and definitely was the epitome of a pure heart filled with endless love. She endured so much over the past several years, but always faced everything with courage, a positive attitude, strength and an undying faith! What an inspiration she was to me and so many others. Kathy truly was the definition of a loving faithful friend and as I told her many times I was honored that she considered me one of her friends.
Also I am glad that through Kathy I had the opportunity to get closer to each of you! Kathy was fortunate to have such an amazing supportive and loving family! You guys are the BEST! I will miss Kathy tremendously but she will always be with me in my heart. I love you “more and most” my dear BFF

Keith, I really thought alot of Kathy. I will always be thankful for her thinking of me at I time that I was in need of a job. She made me aware of the opening at Hitachi, and I know she helped with me getting the job.
Kathy always wore a smile, and had every detail in place. Even when seeing her out with her ball cap on.
I have to tell you that I have prayed for her faithfully over the last several years, after learning of her cancer.
You and your family will be in my prayers for comfort at her passing. But at least we know now that she suffers no more. And knowing this, I pray that you find comfort.

Kathy was my steadfast friend of 30yrs. We spent many hours keeping each other company while "others" were hunting and fishing. She saw me through many difficult times with a shoulder to cry on..We laughed and cried..could be brutally honest about each others hair ,ravaged the clearance racks together with the best of them and shared encouraging words of our faith , salvation and life everlasting. She was a self-proclaimed and very obvious "daddy's girl" but her momma was her very best friend. She had much love and respect for her brother Mark .. but the boys, Jordan and Logan, they were her pride and joy, Kamri was the daughter she always wanted and Keith was her one true love. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
RIP my friend....I will be watching for a cardinal..until we meet again....

Kathy was one of my former students. Excellent student. Loved the Medical Assistant profession. My heart aches. She was an Awesome person. She can now pull up a chair beside her Dad and watch the UofL CARDS. God Bless her family. No more pain for you my friend. You will forever be part of my most precious memories.
