I grew up with Mark. We played baseball, sandlot football and hunted & fished together. We had a great childhood living within a block of each other.
I left Wilmore in 1969 and have lived in Minnesota for for close to 50 years seeing Mark when I occasionally came to Wilmore.
I am sorry I missed seeing him for a few years.
I am sorry for the family's loss!
Rest in Peace Friend

To Mark Alan and all the Hamann family I am truly sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He was a good friend and the best fisherman I have ever known. We fished as a team for 4 of the best years of my life. He was a truly intelligent and insightful man. I learned how to fish from him but also learned many other valuable lessons for this life.
Deepest Sympathy,
Butch

I am indebted to Mark for the good influence he had on my son, John. After John's dad left us, he was very angry and getting into the wrong things as a teenager. John says he wouldn't be here if Mark hadn't got him interested in fishing and away from the negative influences in his life at that time.

Paul, remembering Mark, who loved fishing and corvettes. I grew up on Jessamine creek at Glass Mill. My parents ran a country store there in the 60`s, and Mark became good friends with mom and dad. May he rest in peace.
