Obituary of Mark Alan Hamann
Mark Alan Hamann, 71, Wilmore, KY, husband of Wendy Tyree Sellars Hamann, died Monday at his home in Wilmore. He was born January 18,1948, in Chicago, IL, to the late Cecil B. and the late Ruth Emily (Weller) Hamann. Mark served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Mark worked construction for Tutt Construction in Lexington.
Mark is survived by: his wife: Wendy Tyree Hamann and two sons: Mark A. Hamann, Jr. of Nicholasville, KY and B.J. Gardner of Lexington, KY, one brother: Paul R. Hamann of Wilmore, KY, and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11-1pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Graveside services will be held 1:30 pm Thursday: April 18, by Anthony Givens at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Mark A. Hamann, Jr, B.J. Gardner, Nathan Richardson, Dennis Horton, Marc Dock, Johnathan Sellars, Donavon Euton, John Olson and Joe Wollums.
The family request memorial donations be sent to help the family with expenses.
