Darrell Dickerson, 55, Harrodsburg, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at his home.  Born March 15, 1964, in Madison Co., he was the son of the late Daniel Dickerson, and Joyce (Parke) Dickerson, Richmond, KY. He was the owner of Shear Pleasure and Salon Bleu, Lexington, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, where he served on several committees and as Deacon.

 

Survivors other than his mother include:  sister in law, Barbara Isham of Harrodsburg; sister in law, Vonda Gail Clark of Richmond; niece, April Dawn (Kenny) Deckert; nephews, Daniel Dwight Dickerson and Lewis Campbell. He was preced in death by his spouse Walter Robert Parsons, and a brother, Dwight Dickerson.

 

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, April 21, 2019, at the Harrodsburg Christian Church by Gaye Haralu. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.  Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Saturday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, and after 1:30 PM Sunday, church.

 

Pallbearers are Kevin and John Perkins, Scott Moseley, Perry Dressler, Smith Perkins, Paul Blacketer, Robert Preston, and Wayne Dollins. Honorary bearers are Deacon and Elders of the Harrodsburg Christian Church.
