Obituary of Ruby Bishop Ingram

Ruby Ingram, 83, Amelia, OH, widow of Isaac Joe Ingram, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Born September 19, 1937, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late George Logan and Fannie (Arnold) Bishop Jr.. She was a retired Administrative Assistant at the Univ. of Kentucky and was a writer for the Harrodsburg Herald's Mercer Magazine for 17 years. Ruby was also a member of the Cecilia Baptist Church and the Liberty Road Community Church, Lexington.
Survivors include: one daughter, Janice (John) Hagman of Amelia, OH; a son, Michael David (Donna) Sexton of Lexington; a step-son, Bill (Frankie) Ingram of FL; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David H. Sexton, two step-sons, Donald and Barry Wayne Ingram, and a brother, George Omer Bishop.
Graveside services and burial will be 3 PM, Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, at the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, Harrodsburg, by Donnie Davis. Visitation will be 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
