We met Jim and Shirley on a vacation to the Bahamas years ago and have been friends and travelers together since. We have wonderful memories of our times together. He will be greatly missed. They were a wonderful couple and we pray for Shirley's strength during these difficult times. Jim will be safe and taking his place in heaven without pain and meeting loved ones that have passed before him. Times though will be hard for Shirley. Rest in peace, Jim and God Be with you, Shirley as life goes on.
With Love, Mary and Al Aubin and family.

Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Sprague was a wonderful teacher and always seemed to give the children encouragement and help however he could. My children were two of them, especially my son. I have always been so thankful for the teachers at Perryville Elementary School and how they taught, not only academics, but life lessons. He was such a blessing to the children, school, and community.

He was my favorite teacher of all time! I will never forget his rocket lesson at Perryville where we built and set our rockets off. He was definitely one of a kind.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Sprague's passing. It has been many years since I was in his third grade class at Perryville, but I have thought of him regularly. He inspired a love of learning and was so engaging and passionate about his students. I will never forget the day in computer class when he and I had a competition to see who could type the fastest on some game we had just gotten. I'm not sure if my win was legitimate or not, but I tell that story every time someone comments on how fast I type. He was by far the greatest teacher I ever had and he will be greatly missed.
