Obituary of Betty Jo Rappleye

Betty Jo Divine Durham Rappleye age 82, passed away peacefully at home with her children by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Rappleye, her parents, James W. Divine and Mary Pearl Fallis Divine and a son, David Lee Durham. She retired from Corning Glass Works and was of the Christian faith. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Lynn Durham Swope, Harrodsburg, and Charles Owen Durham, III, (Norma), Harrodsburg, four grandchildren and seven great-children, and one very special cat, Sonny. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Reverend Terry Morrison officiating. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Swope, Lee Durham, Blake Arnold, Jonathan Elliott, Terry Baker, Lee Thomas Wilson, Gordy Alger, Bernie McGlone and Bob Linkous.
