Mrs. Hatcher was my typing teacher. She was cool. I once a put tack in her chair before class. She sat on it, composed herself, and continued class. I thought I had gotten away with something. Class took a break for lunch. Upon my return to my seat, I sat on a tack. I looked at Mrs. Hatcher and she smiled sweetly. Nothing was ever said. What a lady! Sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Laurie Sharpe

This angel was special me and her had such a good time. Specially, every time I did, her hair would laugh and talk. She was a very caring person very loving person. I thought the world of her I miss her so bad she always worried about me taking care of myself, so concerned she gave me this and I will cherish it. The rest of my life fly high my sweet friend. …..

I remember her when she taught school.
But my best memories are when I was in the Farmers Market. She would always buy something. And we would chit chat for a long while. My husband did some work on her house once. If I saw her out at the store or somewhere I would ask if I could give her a big hug. I was just thinking about her the other day. She was such a character and will be missed. Rest in Peace. Dear One.

The family of Carolyn Prewitt sends our love and prayers to the family. Our families went to Harrodsburg Baptist Church together and we are friends with Jeannie and Claire. Mrs. Hatcher was my typing teacher and she once made the statement “as good as you can play the piano, I don’t know why you can’t type faster”. I never forgot that. Love, Carolyn Prewitt, Kathy Carey, Nancy Carter and Ann Prewitt
