A precious memory of my brother was he always cut our tree for christmas. When he went to the air force and did not get to come home, I remember being real sad that we had to go through christmas season without our brother. Who would get our tree. This was our first christmas without him. That memory of Kenny will always be on my mind. Love all of you girls and my regrets are that I did not spend more time with him. Love and kisses to all of you.

Condolences to everyone who knew Kenneth. As most of us know he was an avid bird watcher, fishermen and loved working cross word puzzles. I've known my father-in-law for over 40 years, and he was always a joy to be around (most of the time at least, lol). He taught to me to enjoy all the Saturday night PBS programming's as well as countless documentaries. He was a self-taught, extremely intelligent man and I knew right away to never challenge him in that area. To this day he is the only person I have witnessed using dynamite to blast rock out of the ground for fence posts!
He was old school in that he loved his travelling days by always using his handy highlighted Rand McNally map. He kept his binoculars and bird book by his side in his living room always watching for a new species to show up at his feeders. He loved all his grandkids and enjoyed all the experiences they brought to him regularly. I really got to know him during our family trip out west in 2009 by sharing a small camper with him and my family for two weeks. For instance, when he told me not to drive his truck and camper over 65, he meant it as he caught me doing that a few times, requiring me to win back his trust!!
Kenny truly had the gift of gab, never was there a dull moment of silence around him, just a wealth of knowledge and pranks.
We shared serving in the military and would often discuss Europe and places we had both visited separately. When I deployed in 2006, he was right there watching over my family even while battling some illness of his own. I am sharing this pic of him with a black eye as we both got one separately on the same day during deer season in 2009 by having our eye to close to the scope. Finally, it's important to me that I celebrate his life here on earth and remember him for the man and example he was to me.

Condolences to his family members Jane Coffman and Jo Woodson who tended to his care generously and lovingly for 2.5 years. Kenny was my eldest brother and I loved our vacation to Anchorage AK in the 70s. We bonded and had such a splendid time and we both shared love for tomatoes. Just love his being as he'll be immensely missed. Prayers for comfort to Jo and Jane and their family members.
